No, not for me, or for the girls, but for the dollys, Barbies, Tinkerbells and all their friends.
The younger child and I, mostly I, spent time cleaning out the toy boxes this morning. For the record – kids are gross!
We have a whole crate of dollys that are all in serious need of a wash, make-over (most were naked), and a well-deserved trip to the hairdresser. Also included in the “Great Wash of 2016” were all the various Tea Cup & kitchen equipment sets. I’m seriously considering supplying family with Alistair of things NOT to buy the girls for the next 12 months at least. On it would be:
- Books – see yesterday’s post.
- Barbie Dolls
- Colouring books
- Tea Sets
- Puzzles
They really are so spoilt!
I know I saw a ‘how to do it’ instruction video showing the correct way to wash a dolls hair but for the life of me, I can’t find it. If anyone has any tips on this, please share. It was something about using fabric softener.
Anyway, the wash has been a long time coming, poor chicks. I almost feel a sense of cleanliness myself.
My daughter had tons of barbies and dolls when she was little. *Sigh*
I once washed one in hot water… Oh God… The tears from my daughter! >.<

I wish I'd had the internet when she had dolls!
Thanks so much!
?Love your posts! I remember doing this when my girls were small but now there’s no more dolls! They grow way too fast! ?
Thanks. Sometimes I think I’m writing drivel that’s it worthy of other people’s time. But, I’m committed to writing frequently. Appreciate the support. X
Wow, what a collection! :-)
