Chocolate bubble wrap or bubble wrap chocolate, whichever you think is the correct description is so easy to make and super fun for the kids. It’s a mix between crafting and baking, it is simply melting chocolate and putting it on bubble wrap cooling it down, and then they peel the bubble wrap off, and you’re left with chocolate with a lovely bubble wrap effect. Kids enjoy it as a fun craft to do at home.
It’s easy, it’s a little bit messy, but it’s fun too. And best of all, you get to eat the lovely chocolate creation after the mess is cleaned up. Normally I’m not a fan of messy crafts, but this one, even I’ll allow!

Ingredients for Bubble wrap Chocolate
The ingredients that you need for bubble wrap chocolate are simply:
- 2 bars of a bubble type of chocolate such as aero but any chocolate bar will do
- a piece of bubble wrap which is roughly the size of a dinner plate.
How To Make Bubble wrap Chocolate
Step One: Clean your bubble wrap on both sides. Just use a wet cloth and wipe it clean it so that it’s clean.
Step Two: Break the chocolate bar up into a microwaveable bowl.

Step Three: Melt the chocolate in the microwave. This takes about a minute and a half stir it halfway through just to move the chocolate around.
Step Four: Place your piece of bubble wrap onto the flat plate and then spoon or pour the chocolate from the melted chocolate onto the bubble wrap and spread it around using the back of a spoon.

Optional extra: You can decorate the melted chocolate with any normal cake decorating sprinkles or silver balls or anything like that really.
Step Five: Once it’s ready you put it into the fridge for a couple of hours. It takes maybe an hour hour and a half to solidify again.
Step Six: Take the chocolate bubble wrap out of the fridge. Carefully peel off the bubble wrap from the chocolate. It’s not going to be in a perfect shape but it’s gorgeous.
There you have it, perfect chocolate bubble wrap.
