This week’s #Instaweek Round up is a perfect insight into my week which has been dominated by running around with my kids and their sport practices, and of course wine.
No 5: My post from Thursday’s soccer practice. It was Africa Day and even though we’re in the early stages of winter, it was around 21°C with a gorgeous blue sky. I truly love living in Africa. A few months ago I realised that I tend to do a lot my blogging on the go so I started using the #wheredoyoublog hashtag on Instagram as a way of showing all the different places that I blog at; I even wrote a post about it – #WhereDoYouBlog?

No. 4: As many of my regular readers know, I am quite competitive and today is the annual 5-a-side school soccer tournament. I came across this prayer whilst looking for #soccermom pictures on Pinterest. I just love it. I realise that whilst I do encourage my girls to win, a little perspective is needed and that as long as they do their absolute best, I don’t mind if they don’t win.

No 3: My eldest goes for swimming lessons twice a week at our local Virgin Active gym. The lessons tend to be late afternoon and unfortunately the sun is just at that level where I sit squinting into it and try not to get arc-eye from the reflection off the water. It does make for a lovely picture though.

No 2: Soccer practice again. Me and my eldest waiting for the rest of the players to turn up. Beautiful light with the leaves. I do hate the fact that I am becoming more and more pigeon toed – a result of having both hips replaced a couple of years ago.

No 1: Finally we have the obligatory weekly wine quote picture from #winewednesday. Once again a wine picture is my most liked picture of the week.

I find my instagram suffers during the week when I am at work and we are busy with kids activities etc then I have a flurry of posts over the weekend. This is a great idea for a post #blogstravaganza
I get it. My blog suffers badly over weekends too. I tend to blog when the kids are at school, so I just don’t get the chance on the weekends usually.
