Let’s face it, we’re all sick of baking banana bread. Cakes are comfort food that we all love to snack upon! I’m excited to bring you this Orange cake recipe from fellow blogger Ligia from The Daring Kitchen. She said that her kids absolutely loved this orange cake so I can’t wait to try baking it with my girls. Just look at how mouthwatering this orange cake looks. On Baking Dry Cakes
There are many reasons for people of all age groups to rightly fall for cakes, particularly the dry, home-baked ones. Dry cakes are not very heavy as these are devoid of the fat-rich cream, offers you the liberty to choose a healthy sweetening agent instead of just the regular sugar that is mostly used in the store-bought ones, you get to customize its flavourings based on your likings, and (most importantly) you can shape these cakes to your preference!
In short, there are many things to love about these cakes, especially when baked at home.
Of all the different types of cakes out there, my favourite cakes are the ones based on fruits. This way my family gets to eat a healthy snack (instead of munching on processed foods) and happily enjoy the benefits of colorful fruits without making any excuses. Pretty much a win-win situation for everyone at home.
