GIFTED: Getting your kids to bath can sometimes be a chore that no one wants to do! Some parents enjoy bath time with their kids, and then there are parents like me who just … don’t. It’s not that I don’t want them to be clean, I do. I just can’t stand the fighting and the splashing and the wetting each other’s hair and the soap everywhere. Well, that was until we discovered the amazing range of products from Zimpli Kids. If you are looking for how to make bath time fun, try bathing them in Slime and Gelli!
Over a year ago, I was given a pack of the Slime Baff to try. It came in a goodie bag from a blogging event that I attended. I was a bit suspicious of it because:
- I thought it would be hard to clean up.
- My youngest struggles with eczema so we are always very careful about what we expose her skin to, as much as we can.
I’m glad to say that both of the above were not a problem. You can check out that review here.
We are now settled in the UK since immigrating here back in June, and I was asked to review some other products from their range. Here’s how we got on.
Slime Baff – Goo Blue
The first product we tried was the Slime Baff in Goo Blue! It was awesome!! The girls had so much fun in the bath, bathing in slime!
It’s really easy to set up, you simply run the bath (not too much water, be sure to follow the instructions), then you add the contents of the sachet and mix it for a few minutes. And then you just add kids! And voila – bath time fun!
Warning: It can be slippery so be sure to not leave them unattended if they are very small. It is slime after all.
I gave my girls a couple of bowls and a sieve from the kitchen to play with. They had so much fun in the bath full of slime.
When they were done I rinsed them off with clean water using the shower spray, and then simply pulled the plug and it all drained out. No mess. No fuss!
Here are a few pics from the bath time fun!
Glitter Gelli Baff
Well, I am a mom of two little girls. Pink and glitter are pretty standard in my life. So this is definitely the one ‘we’ were most excited about! I mean, a pink glitter Gelli bath!!! You tell me what can top that?
I have to say that one of the biggest concerns I still had is the eczema. But, just as it says on the box, none of the products we have tried have caused any significant reaction to my daughter’s eczema.
The glitter baff is slightly different to the slime baff in that it is a more jelly-like consistency. This one also comes with two bags. Once you mix up with the water to make the jelly bath, and the other you add when the kids are finished having all the bath time fun. It dissolves the jelly and then you simply drain the bathwater/jelly.
The girls had an absolute ball with this one! They were having fun in the bath for about half an hour! Half an hour!! If that’s not awesome for mom time, I don’t know what is. I set them up with plastic bowls and sieves from the kitchen again and they had so much fun sieving the jelly and glitter water.
The glitter in this one is more like tiny little sequins almost, as opposed to actual glitter, but the effect is still the same.
Of the three products, this is definitely the girls’ favourite.
SnoBall Play
This one is not a bath product. It is basically fake snowballs. The box contains two sachets and they can make up to about 30 snowballs.
The weather hasn’t been great so I decided to set it up slightly differently for the girls. After they mixed up their snow, I put it all in a big plastic box (the kind you use to store things in under beds). I then suggested to the girls that they create a ski resort style play zone for their many (many) collectible toys.
I used the opportunity to create my first real vlog for my new YouTube Channel. Please take a look and let me know what you think? And if you like it, please give it a big thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. I would really appreciate the support.
The SnoBall Play by Zimpli Kids is available at all major retailers, and also via Amazon for £2.99.
I really love all the Zimpli Kids products. Not only are they safe, and fun, and non-irritating to my daughter’s skin, but they are affordable and the perfect gifts for Christmas. Besides the three products I have reviewed here, there are loads more to choose from. Bath time fun is a real thing!

These look like really fun products. My little one actually loves bath time at the moment, but good to know that there are products out there for when she inevitably decides its not fun anymore! #Blogstravaganza
These look like so much fun. I wondered about trying out the bath gelli with my boys during the summer but worried about their skin as the eldest has really bad eczema. Pleased to hear that it didn’t seem to cause a problem for your little one. Thank you for sharing with #Blogstravaganza :)
